Parting ways with my XM-29. This will be pickup in 02184 only, cash & carry. No warranty or troubleshooting will be offered as this is an old TV and how you treat it is not on me. I will go into detail of all the faults the TV has in this post.

Good
-Comes with remote
-Comes with scart to bnc adapter
-All inputs work flawlessly, including the VGA and external speakers.
-Picture is sharp and bright once it warms up.
-Fan is quiet and the bearing is not squealing.
-TV itself is in great shape. No scratches on tube.

Bad
- The internal speakers are crunchy. Was never a big deal to me because I always used a pair of external bookshelf speakers hooked up to it.
- Will eventually need a cap kit. After the TV is unplugged/powered off for an extended period of time the brightness of the TV will pulsate for several seconds and then even out. Tell tale sign that this monitor will need a kit.
-If the TV is not left in standby it will forget the picture settings. I don't necessarily know if this a flaw as the only other XM I've used did the same thing, but I figured I would let the potential buyer know.

Buyer will be given ample time to test the TV out prior to purchase. This really us a nice set that has been well cared for, it just needs some service after all these years. SOLD for $1600. This price reflects the buyer having to either perform or pay some to perform the cap kit and still be under what the TV is "worth". I will entertain trades of a VLX cabinet towards this machine.

Feel free to reach out with questions.

First picture is S video and second is Scart for comparison.

4 of these through my hands now, all of them did the same thing. Seems to be the norm.
