Incorrect... The OSSC is only a line doubler.
It takes what the arcade board provides and multiplies it, IF the sync is strange/too far outside of 60hz, the LCD is what will refuse to sync it.

Aka has EVERYTHING to do with the LCD and what it will accept for sync ranges.
This is why people have the best results with PC monitors or 4K TVs, they are far more tolerant of sync ranges outside of 60.0.

I just wanted to be clear, because you said "The LCD is compatible with the OSSC at 5x" and I'm here to tell you that is not a 100% true/accurate statement.
It is likely compatible with "most" arcade PCBs+OSSC@5x but all? Nope (if you doubt it just fire up a Midway PCB, nothing can sync that 54.7hz sync)

Oh man if only you were closer and I was able to find more loose change in my couch. Sadly coming up short a little short. Would even consider selling my beloved motorcycle to get a Vewlix Diamond Black.

In all seriousness good luck on your sale. Those are some sweet looking cabinets.

Or you can get a PAL from DC to take a look and pick them up for you and place it in your DC place:)..just an idea:)

Just want to confirm, i have seen these cabs, and brought one home myself. they really are in amazing condition. well worth every penny.
 
Amazing cabinets SNK-NEO-GEO if i had the funds i would be all over this especially that Vewlix L so gorgeous perfect for shumps.
hopefully one day ill come across this again in the not to distance future with funds in hand. Thank you for posting this now am gonna go cry myself to sleep.
