Gun peripheral advice needed Ranger Mission

I got my first gun game “Ranger Mission” and wanted to know if there is a universal option to use a gun setup for this title.


The original game came with two shotguns and a Sammy sub pcb to connect them to.

Is there a route I could take to start blasting in my Aero cab?

not truly universal but there are a handful of Gun tracking technologies and so long as other games use the same tech they're generally interchangable.

Atomiswave uses classic CRT gun tracking, there are a handful of AW gun games and they all use the same tech. Ranger mission didn't use shotguns, most likely those are from Extreme Hunting or Extreme Hunting 2 (which also shipped in NAOMI Uprights). Ranger Mission originally shipped with pistol style guns. And with an appropriate harness adapter those guns can be used with other CRT games, or other CRT guns can be used with those games.

And yes it will work in an Astro also.
