Has anyone repaired a corrupted bios?

I seem to have a corrupted bios on one of my mod bios gnet boards (good to have a backup). Seems once your modbios gets corrupted there's no going back and reflashing doesn't work. I believe the flash bios is a soldered tsop56 and has to desolderd with a hot air station and a tsop56 adapter with programmer which I own. I guess what Im asking has anyone here ever fixed a corrupted bios tsop56 and is there an easier route Im not aware of?

I believe @Tailsnic Retroworks had a GNET board with a corrupted BIOS, but I'm not sure if he was able to get it going.

I partly solved it by reflashing the bios the usual way and I am getting video now since I wasn't before and couldn't tell if it was flashing. Although when I do its doesn't take and Im just getting continues resetting now after i remove jumper 1.

update: Ok pcmcia adapter is shot that explains the resetting .
