Hi, I am a German living in the UK for a while now (London and Margate)
grew up in the 80s, now working as a DEV/OPS in IT and love arcades since i was a kid.
My parents run a hotel in Bavaria/Germany and we used to have an arcade in the 80s/90s with loads of pinball machines, donkey kong and other random cabinets (sadly we closed it)
Obvs thats where I got addicted
I built my own arcade cabinet with a rpi and own a MVS and AES as well as other older consoles.
For modern games, I don't run any windows OS, so I play mostly linux compatible games and try to get windows native games to work on linux.
I don't understand much about old tech (CRT and stuff) but i own some JVC CRTs, which giving my odd issues now and then
