Hello everyone! I’m Simon from Singapore
Proud to say that I’m a passionate gamer and collector for well over 25 years now and only have been able to really plan and buy an actual arcade cabinet for myself since 4 years ago. I just recently have the pleasure to own the Sega Astro City after hunting for over 3 years for one and plan to learn a lot more from the people in this forum.

Great setup, Astro city has that perfect futurist vibe for the arcade era. Great hobby, and a great place to share ideas, questions and answers. Welcome!

Indeed! The sleek, clean and futuristic design of it was what made me choose this cab instead of it's later iterations.
 
Hello Simon, nice to see you. I was in Singapore a few times in the 90s and I remember buying a japanese copy of Sonic the Hedgehog 2 for my Mega Drive there together with my folks.

I also remember playing Neo Geo at the singapore airport, but I somehow don't remember any game centers -- it would be nice if you could tell a bit about gaming in Singapore. :)
