I got a good deal on an ALLS with Mario and Sonic Tokyo Olympics. I was curious about it, so I tested it out on a computer monitor yesterday. It starts the bootup process just fine until finally, an error message pops up:

グラフィックボードが描画を接続できませんでした。
Translation: the graphics board could not connect to display an image (lit. the graphics board could not connect the drawing)
Does anybody have any ideas? This is a YAJ no-return item, so sending it back isn’t possible. I tried searching in Japanese and only found this thread:

This didn’t give me anything as the people within the discussion seem to have topic ADD even more so than we sometimes do. The only info of any use was that one guy opened it, cleaned it, and then it magically worked. Another guy mentioned the fan on these aren’t very good so maybe something overheated.
Any help that anyone could provide would be much appreciated. Thank you!
