Does anybody have the no battery mod ROM file for DDP DOJ Black Label? I can't seem to find the rom for my board that has a missing battery. The link is showing a 404 message, and it seems the file was removed back in 2012.

Any hep would be much appreciated.

I have built a heap of BL and Combo BL/WHITE With working Original Cave Menu (in beta) and never had to mod anything for the battery.... Maybe i'm missing somthing??

The original Cave DOJBL board suicides if the battery runs out.

Now i get ya!, Suicide battery's suck! I have removed heaps of Sega and CPS1 / CPS2 Batts.
I wish i had some original Cave PCBs....

The DDPDOJ rom we did in the PGM topic with soft selection of Black/White label at boot, crashed at a fixed point in stage..4 i think?
I did a lot of debugging on it, but was never able to get that bug fixed. @GC8TECH did you ever get to the bottom then?

Yes, IQ_132 fixed it all up. So it should work fine now. Burn it into a 27C322 eprom and replace the main Program rom. Its STILL in BETA. but no one has found a fault in it yet!

Thanks for this! Any technical details on what caused the crash? I love to read writeups about these things. I was speculating a read/write somewhere that i didn't catch. @iq_132

@Asure the above rom is a completely new hack (100% my own work). I simulated the protection device in 68k assembly and patched it in and patched out the NVRAM (suicide) protection. I also removed the timer for the boot selection, but I don't know if that's the one @GC8TECH posted.
