What's new
It does seem that the dude himself found the issue at least, so better than some open-source items where it's just "Good luck, untested but should work, who knows man!".
Yeah. And there may be more discovered by others but it's goid he caught it early. Now the hard part is figuring out why the issue is occuring.

Woof, that’s the bug from hell.

“intermittent problems after extended use”

So reproducing the issue requires a lot of time and only happens occasionally.

The CPS3 programmer PCBs for the Open Source Cart Reader arrived from PCBWay. I’ll reach out to the folks that spoke up earlier for my four spares, and I’ll assemble my own board this weekend.

When you get it up and going can you give us a quick rundown on the process? What voltage do you select on the oscr? How do you flash the bios cart? Does it work on a live cart? Can you backup your existing cart data? Etc etc….

I'm personally happy to try it on a NG cart I have laying around as I won't be fussed if it dies as a result. I'll just rewrite it with an Ultra BIOS right after. ;)

I’m sure Mitsurugi-w is giving this warning for a reason. Everyone should be wary. It does “appear” to be working but I’m sure a lot can and will go wrong.
I mean there's really no need to give an additional warning when the dude who actually set up the github has put the warning in several places.
