HOTD4 gun issues

Hello!
I’ve managed to get my hands on a HOTD4 cabinet (the exact same one I ever played this magnificent game on for the first time!) and I’m having some issues with my P2 gun.
As you can see in this video my p2 gun (I switched it to the p1 port to see if the problem was caused by something else) only aims in that line from top left to bottom right, while p1 gun works perfectly, even when using the p2 slot on the gun board.

I’m a newbie so I have no experience with cabinets, but to me it seems like a sensor issue? All 10 pairs of infrareds work fine from the screen frame and p1 gun works well too, so it’s either some cables slowly dying or it’s the sensor (I believe).

Is this the most likely outcome? And if it is, where can I find some replacement sensor? I’ve looked around on AliExpress and eBay but they go for +100€ and they’re clones, not even originals.

Considering the sensor is an expensive part to replace, why not swap the sensors to make sure?

Simply swapping the sensor and removing some dust fixed it.
The cabinet is pretty dirty but I’m very happy I was able to get it to work without shelling out so much money for a single sensor.
