Not sure if this is the right section to ask about this, but I have a Pana Twin Long supergun/control box that I am pairing with various PCB's and getting "bending" at the top. Some search results have led me to devices such as the Extron 203 RXI. Will this help eliminate this issue? Is there some better solution out there?

Have you tried another bnc to scart cable?
is this only the case with the pvm or also with all other crts?

The 20L5 (as well as the BVM series) are pretty picky with sync. In my experience, the same issue also happens with CPS1 and PC Engine on my BVM 20F1U. The Extron 203rxi might help with it's ability to reprocess sync. The annoying thing is that if you turn sync reprocessing on (I think it's called DDSP?) you lose a lot of the other functionality offered by the 203rxi (the knobs in front stop working). I haven't used mine in a long time, which is why I'm not 100% certain that it'll solve that issue.

Another way is to install a sync stripper into your SCART to BNC cable, or in between whatever you use to connect your supergun to your BNC ports. I went this route since I tend to move my setups around, and adding a 203rxi into the mix (a metal box + another PC style power cable) makes it much more cumbersome. It's also much cheaper and readily available.

So I have a JVC DT-V1710CG that this happens with on my Neo Geo AES, Turbo Duo and some PCB'S. I have a gscartsw which I guess has sync stripping enabled and helps a great deal. With this 20L5, I have a regular SCART to BNC without sync stripper (bought back in 2016). I just ordered a wookiewin one with sync stripper. Hoping this helps without having to add in extra equipment.

You convinced me to just pull the trigger on a wookiewin SCART to BNC cable with sync stripper. Hoping this helps as I don't want to deal with extra boxes, power adapter and space as you said.

I think that would be the problem. Many BVMS of the A series also have the problem ..with old rgb card. The new Clome card no longer has the problem, which one hears.
Oh nice, is this the one on Castle Mania Games site?

Zero Team (and other Seibu stuff) specifically is weird on my PVM too. What other games have you tested it with?

Actually, disregard my last post, it works fine on my 20M2U. Not sure why I remember having similar problems with it.
