I just got this error when booting VF4FT:
9C1442F1-2D25-46D3-A5DE-F03280849693.jpeg

ERROR 14
DIMM BD FIRMWARE VERSION DOES NOT FULFILL THE GAME SPEC.
REQUIRED VERSION 3.17.

This is NOT a Netdimm board but a regular one that came with my CVS2 setup.

When running the dimm test, here’s what came up:

This firmware version is 1.02. What is the best way to update the firmware as I’m unable to netboot my wipi and can’t copy any cds with update dimm software?

@mR_CaESaR, this is more involved that I thought.
I guess I'll need to buy a few things.
Based off your post, what's a good heatgun you suggest and where can one buy the 29LV160 Flash?
Lastly, is the 4.02 firmware on this site?

Thanks in advance

Yeah it is a little more involved unfortunately - especially if you don't have any of the tools required. Might be cheaper to organise someone locally to do it for you. I'm sure anybody that can do the CPS3 BIOS can also do this mod for you - paging @ShootTheCore and @Mitsurugi-w :)

Heat gun wise, I only use a cheap ebay one. I'm sure there are far better ones out there, but for the stuff I've been doing, it's been sufficient.

I think I got 4.02 form @Tailsnic Retroworks, can't remember if it's from here on thread or his blog
