Anyway -- hello from Houston! I'm mostly a lurker, but I've been looking to get into arcade stuff as a hobby. I've wanted my own cab for a long time, but I've never been able to pull the trigger on one (until hopefully fairly soon). My goal is likely going to be a Vewlix or PRAS3, but I'm still researching, so that might change.
Outside of potential hobbies, I've been gaming since I got a TRS-80/Tandy Color Computer 2, then found consoles with that brief reissue of the Atari 2600 before I got a NES. I found out about arcades somewhere around then, and I've been addicted ever since. Favorite arcade games: SF2, Magical Drop 2 and 3, TMNT, Moon Patrol
This seems like a really positive and helpful community, and I'm looking forward to contributing what I can and learning a thing or two. Thanks for having me!
