I bought HNG64 mobo which came with Samurai Spirits Warrior Rage few years ago. They work pretty fine.
.
Recently, I bought other carts (FF:WA & Buriki-1) to play on the same mobo and problem occurred.
.
When I the game boot up both carts they show following message on screen;
65B67758-5D4E-4754-A8D8-6DFA5ACA6446.jpeg

“HYPER NEOGEO64 System Log Reader SetUp Wait a moment”
.
After 10 seconds the message change to follows;
8C7B77FB-3232-428F-8221-1B244F93ABB0.jpeg

“AA/AA/AA AA:AA AABAAAAA”
It stay on this screen forever!
.
IMO Fatal Fury Wild Ambition is a common game on Hyper NG64. Anyone have an idea to solve this please kindly help!

Hi, I know this thread is old but I found it while trolling google looking for a copy of Buriki One. Were you able to solve this issue?
There's apparently 1 version of HNG64 (out of 4) known as the Korean version that ONLY plays the two Samurai Shodown games, so I wonder if that is your issue.

Sorry for late reply, the issue still unsolved. How to identify whether my mobo is Korean version or not ??

Thats a great question and unfortunately I'm unsure. I'm just going off some old info I've read about the Hyper 64 in places like here, but if the Samurai Shodown games are working while FF and B1 aren't, it seems to fit the description of the Korean board. Have you tried Samurai Shodown recently just to make sure everything is working fine with the board?

Scrolling through some old forum posts, it sounds like this guy was having a similar problem to you but all the pictures he posted are gone so we can't see what a supposed Korean board looks like :/

Are you powering the Hyper 64 via JAMMA only? Revision 1 Fighting Boards also require a +5V connection on the front of the board, I wonder if that could be the problem?
