So my Raiden II was going nuts on the audio, so I ordered some replacement caps and an LA4460; Replaced the caps, but the LA4460 I couldn't get to desolder well. I'll be honest, it was 2am and I should've just stopped and continued the next day; I ended up lifting a few pads. The pads weren't connected to any traces on the back side. I finished up soldering it, checked the continuity and everything checked out.
Tried the game today, volume at max only makes about 10% of the volume coming from the speakers. Truth be told I needed smaller tips and goodnight's rest, but mistakes were made. Any advice on going about testing this and fixing it? Also, can anyone recommend a test bench setup that would work on a Computer monitor? I don't exactly have a spare arcade monitor or a Sony PVM etc.
