Getting identical Taito Canary small style panels made up (non start button type).


Is there any interest here? I should have some approximate pricing this week.

I would definitely be interested. How close to the original is it in terms of looks?

Don't suppose you could also do the P1/P2 start artwork/sticker? I'm dreading having to remove mine when I paint and I haven't seen any replacements out there.

It's going to be very close. Printed directly onto metal using sub-eloxal printing, just like the original panel. Everything will be laser cut.

The metallic P1/P2 metal sticker will peel off nicely if you slowly use a flat scraper tool. Use goo gone to remove the old glue - that's what I did. You can then smooth it out using baking paper and a smooth pen. Once you've painted the cab/control panel surround, you can use double sided tape or uhu to apply it without damaging your new paint

Do the same for the metallic sticker on the front of the cab (the one held down by 4 screws).

Will be awesome to have repros of these available. Thanks, @fuzzbuddy! Where did you find high-quality scans/vectors of the designs? Or did you re-create them yourself? Would be awesome to have those digital files available here or on the AO wiki. Either way, thanks for the efforts.

The blue panel in the picture is mine. I have sent it directly to the manufacturer and commissioned them to do the art etc. It's more expensive this way, but at least it will be better!

It's missing the model number from the original.

Personally, I would make the bolt holes square even though the original has them round.

But yeah, nice work!

Closest colour match. The issue is the metal type. This is as close as it will get. It will still look amazing once it's all together (black lines etc.).

Finally shipped to me. I expected photos before they shipped out....
