Cant find a place to buy Sega parts.

I am looking to buy the buttons from an ID7 cab like in the pic below and the seat cushion as the ones from Sega always seem to crack/split at the seams,etc..

I contacted Sega UK parts, but they are like "Oh we have to reach out to the Japan office to see if we can order for you"
And you guys know how that goes, if its not a big order, there is no interest in doing any work.

Any leads or if someone has access to buy parts in Japan from Sega or an operator that can get them please let me know.

There was a YAJ auction yesterday with ID7 disc, 3 security chips, the buttons panel, shifter and some other stuff. I got outbid. :(

It was only up for 4 hours. The seller had the same listing a couple days ago with no bids. I figured I'd go ahead and bid when I saw it again, and then got outbid by a couple dollars. I hate it when that happens... I wasn't sure if the bundle was actually worth in excess of $500, though.

500 seems excessive for 7. There were three dongles and a cd for 6 which I think went up to 300 though which is just as crazy.

oh wow I totally missed that as well. Definitely understand the feeling of outbid by such a small amount.

Derick - arcadespareparts had one for a bit, but haven't seen it in stock for a while. I snagged one on eBay a while back, but first one I've ever seen listed.
 
I have some spare ID4 stuff - I forget if the ID4 parts are compatible or not with the ID5-ID8 cabs. I can get to my storage by tomorrow, and will see (I have a some ID5 cabs in there as well, so will be able to compare).

Thanks bro, I had asked the seller to list it for me, he has several for sale, Im getting one that is in good condition. He used that pic to discourage other from buying it before I had a chance to get to the listing.

What I am really after is this sort of kit though, I think these are the highest failure parts that Sega had/has on these cabs, I still havent found a source these.

Wish I new an arcade op/distributor in Japan that could buy these for me, apparently you can only source these from Sega Japan directly and they dont seem to have a parts sales contact like Taito does.
