I have an In the Hunt PCB that bows and creaks when I mount vertically in my cab. I’m thinking the mounting hardware isn’t correct.

Anyone know what length spacers these boards came with originally and where?

EDIT: I am asking about the hardware that mounts the PCB to the board in the cabinet. The standoffs that lock the two PCBs together are 17mm.

Curious if there was something official. What are you using now?

I put standard PCB feet on mine where the notches allow screw driver to fit and it seemed fine.

I have standard PCB feet which are 20mm tall under the sub board. I tried using 18mm spacers over standard PCB feet to support the main PCB closer to the JAMMA edge but, as I said, that doesn’t feel right.

I didn’t put anything on the overhang. I will try what you did when I get some time.

The middle spacer is 17mm and the PCBs are 1.6mm thick, so you need 18.6mm (or total height of 38.6mm if you count 20mm PCB foot). Maybe try 19mm or add a washers to get you an extra .6mm.

Can anyone help me identify TR1 and TR2?

I’m looking to grab a Major Title 2 that the seller claims works fine with TR2 being unpopulated. I’ve searched for images of other MT2 boards and they all seem to have this component.

C2120 NPN Transistors, looks like they connect to JAMMA pins 8 and J (coin counters?).

Does the board have a JAMMA notch? If not, it's likely the Korean version and will have several other component differences when compared to non-Korean version. A little more info here: https://www.arcade-projects.com/threads/irem-m92-boot-or-not-a-boot.2020/
It does have a JAMMA notch and I think the board is JP or at least World based on photos.

Do you think I should replace it? Any harm in running it without or with for that matter?

Really appreciate your help!

The Irem M92 manual does mention installing diodes if your cabinet only has one coin counter, see page 9. Maybe an improper install caused TR2 to fail?

There's another C2120 at TR3 that connects to CN6, maybe TR2 was removed to repair TR3 at some point.

My guess is that it's been running that way for some time. The Korean versions seem to be missing them altogether.

Got it. Seems like if it’s working fine there shouldn’t be a reason to mess with it.

Thanks again for your help and guidance.
