Before explaining away my issues, this is my setup:
- HAS v5
- Meanwell RT-125A
- HAS Scart adapter
- Retrotink 4k
- Undamned USB adapter
- CPS-2 with Darksoft Multi (1st revision)
- CPS-3
So, for the CPS-2 (or at least mine), the hardware crashes almost every time when playing on the HAS. I've been getting either a "RAM Error" or "NG RAM" error message (as seen in the picture attached). After getting the error, I either have to power cycle the system a few times and/or disconnect/reconnect the A & B board to get it working again. The voltage that I set for the PSU is 5.1V. The HAS voltage measurement is 5.04V.
This issue does not occur when playing on my Astro City though...
As for the CPS-3, the audio seems to be cutting in and out. These are the multiple ways that I've tried hooking up the audio in which this issue is occurring. These methods are:
- hooking the sound jack from the HAS to the SCART.
- Connecting from the CPS-3 to the Scart
- Connecting CPS-3 to Retrotink
The only way to bypass this issue is to connect from the CPS-3 to the Spesker itself.
I would much prefer connect the audio from the HAS onto the Scart adapter.
The audio issues again does not exist when using the Astro City.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
