For those who don’t know; KFC on Christmas is a quirky Japanese tradition that’s been around for the last 40 years. Essentially it’s the result of a legendary advertising campaign. People line up outside the stores on Christmas Eve. It’s funny as hell to me, so I participate 🙂

When I walked by the Akihabara location a few weeks ago there was no Santa there! It felt so wrong =(I love how all the stores have a statue of Colonel Sanders year round, but dress him as Santa on the lead up to Christmas
I think they got tired of all the maids putting flyers in his hands thinking he was just another lost Gaijin ojisan 😆

That's a bit odd. The first pic shows a regular Blast City marquee back cover. The Vs marquee on the other hand has a shorter fluorescent light fixture, mounting points for the 7-segment display and a shelf for the PSU.

The problem with Japanese people is that they always send everything so well packed and are honest about the items, that even tho I have ordered tens, if not hundred items over the years, I never had to return a thing
