Kick Harness Extension Cables on Darksoft Multi - Installation Help

I was able to pick up a couple of cables that fit the specs but I couldn't find a guide that explains the installation. Excuse if is a very basic question.

If someone could indicate me if the the inner side of the cables on the B board board goes with the external side of the cables on the filter board. Or reverse and what game you use to test I would be grateful.

Not sure what you mean about inner/external sides of the cables, but the orientation of the cable connectors should match that of the headers on the PCBs so that it snaps and locks into place.

It helps a lot, so the orientation is twisted as I described.

What it surprise me is that only 8 of the 10 lanes actually connected.

The cables I found have all 10, so I guess I should remove the last 2 cables?

I would just leave it. If you're really concerned e.g. that it might deliver voltage to something that shouldn't receive it, you could check the Darksoft Multi pinout and/or just a multimeter to verify that there's continuity to a component.
