SO i have some Medal or Quiz Konami System here that is a PC 1 GB Memory DVI GC not sure what yet , i was wondering on the Chances of getting it to run Type X or X2 multi software ?

With difficulty and depends on the hardware… do you have the full spec?

thanks darksoft i will take a look at the mobo then first , be nice to find a use for it and not a door prop

Next step would be someone hacking the BIOS so that it doesnt require the TMP IC.

You should be able to run the TTX2 multi through I guess? May just run stock, as the motherboard spec is identical?
TMP would only be needed for og games?

I have installed the TTX2 multi to different hardware... it was a hassle, but doable...

so gave it a go with Niko Multi and it boots but on the Shell i get cannot Read Dips and thats as far as we get

You need to have a TTX IO… and then a JVS card. Good start tho…

Maybe @Niko could modify the multi so that the games read the dips from a cfg file and the JVS can be read from a RS485/RS232 adapter plugged into the COM port. Just an idea, probably not so simple to implement.

TPM shouldn't matter since the multi doesn't care about it. You probably could get it to work with the JVS card I bet. I wonder if you need the JVS card or can you just use a FAST I/O?

I used to have a TX2 that had a TEM 001B board in it, I think it was one of the weird card games. Ran a multi just fine.
