I was trying to use my Restore Disks for both games and I found out that my copy of Super Bikes Restore Disk ver 3.04 Disk 2/2 is corrupt because I am unable to complete the Software Restoration Process as it fails with disk 2. I also tried making disk images for both disks and disk 1 ripped perfectly but it errors out for disk 2.

I also suspect my Target Terror Gold disk might be compromised so I would like an image of that as well as the software restoration process seemingly fails after I pull the disk out and power cycle to start the initialization process. The game black screens and flashes "Caps Lock" and "Scroll Lock" lights on the PS/2 keyboard. I am using both an IDE Hard Drive and an IDE DVD Drive with both set to Cable Select and the Hard drive in the Master position and disc drive in the Slave Position. The disk i have is Target Terror Gold version 2.12 LIN DVD with both the OG Parallel port dongle and USB dongle.

Many thanks!

Not all Target Terror versions run on all hardware. We'd need to know your Mobo Model number to know which Restore disc is the correct one to use.

what you're describing on the failure in initialization is a typical failure when using the wrong software version for your mobo hardware.

Mobo:
ASRock N68-GS4/USB3 FX
REV. G/A 1.02

I/O:
Target Terror U4 REV. 1.8

Interesting, I wasn't tracking the mobo variant as compatible, but it's most similarly aligned with the mobos that use disc Version 2.12.LIN
your disc is probably fine but if you want to try a new one you can find them on Archive.org https://archive.org/search?query=target+terror+iso

it's possible your keyboard IS actually screwing it up, but I don't know that removing it and rebooting will solve that issue. The first boot after a flash is critical and if anything of the equipment that is supposed to be there isn't found (such as IO, dongle etc.) it will fail to configure the image and you have to start the flash process all over again.

so make sure your IO board is properly hooked up and showing signs of life, make sure the dongles are hooked up and showing signs of life, remove the keyboard and any other unnecessary peripherals and start the flash process from scratch... don't plug anything in until after the first boot configuration is complete.

I know the flash process sucks, I had to do it over dozens of times working out my setup.
