Yup, there is a 3d printed version Im looking into also. Hakko makes one, but they sell a unit for each chip size, so you can end up with 4-5 of devices.

Do you have the lead spacing for the devices you are looking to straighten ?

It shouldn't be too hard to make something adjustable to suit a range of ICs.

I think the most common spacings are 7.5mm and 15mm, but you also have 10mm and 19mm.

I asked @hursit about possibly making these out of metal if its not too costly.

Well here is my attempt at it. It all seems to fit correctly but I am not sure if PLA has the rigidity to straighten IC legs.
