I'm looking to make a Karate Champ arcade stick for my HAS. Bolt patterns and such don't matter as I will 3d print a case for whatever I use. I'm looking for something aftermarket that would have the closest feel to the original that is readily available. No need to use original Data East parts. Any suggestions? My understanding was the original sticks have a stiffer feel and a 4 way restrictor but I could be wrong. It's been 30 years since I played on an original cabinet.
