I've got loads of DIP package on scrap boards, might have a look to see if I've got an SMD one

Found one on Ebay from the UK, about €5 incl shipping, hope that gets here quick...

Otherwise I would have ordered some from China/HK for a fraction of the price...

Would you happen to know what the difference is between MB3771 SO package and MB3771PF SOP package?

The IC is not a voltage regulator but a voltage monitor used in RESET circuit.You can find it on many PCBs also in SOP package.Let me know which package you need.

you can recover then from sega encrypted 68000 cpu modules too.
frankly it's not worth the trouble if you can find them for sale though.
