Melty Blood Actress Again

What is the difference from Melty Blood Actress Again and Melty Blood Actress Again NP ?

In my list of roms on my microSD card in my RaspPi I have both (I bought this as a fully assembled kit).

I just upgraded my netdimm ram to 1GB and everything works except Melty Blood Actress Again. I can play Melty Blood Actress Again NP ok though.

When I load Melty Blood Actress Again, it goes all the way through loading and memory check, shows the Naomi screen one last time, and then goes black screen no matter how long I leave it on.

Just curious about this.

P.S. I'm really digging the Naomi Netbooting, a lot of these games are totally awesome!

np = no patch

there was a hacked release that had been "patched" though I have no idea what this patch did, I was never able to get the patched version to run.

it's certainly not an official release version if that's what you're wondering.

I'm assuming.

on my setup there is no "NP" version there's "Melty Blood Actress Again" and "Melty Blood Actress Again Patched v6"

I'm just assuming whoever setup your roms is using "NP" to mean no-patch
