Midway PCB w/GBS-Control

I am trying to use my 2 on 2 Open Ice Midway PCB with the GBS-Control.

I can't get the PCB to sync with the GBS-Control directly, although it syncs fine with a standard GBS8200.

The image quality of the GBS8200 is just not what I'm looking for. I paid a lot for the board, and I want to enjoy using it.

I am wondering if anyone is successfully using a Midway PCB with GBS-Control?

I have figured out a workaround, and it works well, but I'd like to not have to perform it every time I want to play this PCB.

Here is the workaround, if anyone is interested:

1. Hook up a Component Video switch to the GBS-Control Component Video input.
2. Connect 2 devices to the Component Video switch; 1 that syncs easily with the GBS-Control, the other is the Midway PCB.
3. Turn on the device that syncs with the GBS-Control, and the Midway PCB
4. Set the Component Switch to the device that syncs with the GBS-Control
5. In the GBS-Control developer options - disable SyncWatcher
6. Set the Component Switch to the Midway PCB
7. The Midway PCB should be sync'd to the GBS Control

I do not have the clock mod installed right now. I had it installed, but it seems to not allow this workaround.

The workaround is simple but it took me hours to discover.

With the clock mod I was only able to sync the Midway PCB 1 time, and it was the result of the GBS-Control get stuck and not really doing it's thing.

With the clock mod, you can see that it is actively interfering with the Midway PCB syncing, that's what led me to remove it.
