I've been working on making a universal storage system for all my arcade PCBs to minimize the handling needed. Basically they are just a 3d printed boxes I resize and the I drill small holes in the base where I want things to line up. I use M3 heat inserts and thumb screws for the HAS V5 mount. I'm sure other supergun supports can be made and I designed it with that in mind because I'm sure I'll get other ones. Mortal Kombat needs extra customizations so I modified somebody else's sound PCB models online some. I added extra clearance and created a front mount for the jnx kick adapter and a mount for a volume pot. You need a large format printer like and ender 5 plus to make these. I'll post the files if anybody is interested. I don't think static should be an issue since the pla only comes into contact near the mounting posts. I also wipe them down with endust. I'm pretty sure PLA holds water and if it was bad all the 3d printed raspberry pi stuff would be failing. The only time I find heavy static on PLA is after printing. I think PLA builds static when hot.

Very clean design! I've also been designing 3d printed cases when I have time.

I like your approach of making it universal by drilling holes and adding heat inserts.

Is there any ventilation on the case?

No ventilation because I am designing it to be played with the top off. I may print another top that can be used for all of them when playing. The heat inserts are only for the supergun mount and in the top on the 4 corners. The PCB is held to the bottom by drilling small holes and using the wood screws that come with the standoffs. I think those work best in this case since the PCBs won't be removed

Here are a few different HAS adapters with different boards that cover most situations. Sega system 16 needs a jamma adapter, so I extended it and added support for that, double dragon has the jamma edge on the second level, karate champ needs an adapter too and has the jamma edge on the 2nd level.

They key here was making something tv friendly and not needing to make new cases if I ever get a new supergun. I wanted to make safe in storage from water damage and make it quick to swap games. I hate spinning the boards around to remove bubble wrap. This way physical contact to the board is minimal. Just keep my hand along the edge when pushing on the connectors.

For those jamma adapters they are extremely hard to get on and off. They fit too well. I may make a piece of plastic that fits to the edge of the PCB so you can just get a big flat head screw driver insert and twist. Or if I'm feeling smart turn nut and it prys them off.
