Hi,

The MS8-26 in my Aero City is still giving me some trouble. It had been recapped in June by me and I obviously did something wrong since it blew the F902 fuse on power up. I sent it out for repair, it came back working. The guy who repaired it went through all the capacitor solder joints and fixed a broken trace on the small deflection PCB.

The issue now is that the monitor will shutdown after 15-20 minutes, obviously after warming up. If I let it cool down for 5-10 minutes, it will fire up again.
B+ is completely stable at 92V, even after shutdown. I was looking for hotter than usual components earlier today and I could notice that Q401 and especially the metal cage/heatsink around it were quite hot, much more than Q402 and the other transistor near the flyback.

Could the transistor (D1138) be dying and would the shutdown after warm up be a possible symptom? Or should I be looking elsewhere?
Thanks!
