I'm going to be trying out your technique (as described in the other thread) on some trim pieces in my car (converting wood grain to silver). If that works well I'm going to see if I can use it to restore the blue to my Egret 29 control panel housing.

I say try it on similar pieces, practice spraying first and get used to doing before you go for your actual pieces. Also, there are different finishing options, like clear coats, wet sanding and final polish/buffing, if you are going for that super shiny, wet/glass look. I like to leave them more with that sandtex type finish.
