I am looking for a complete MS2931 monitor for on of my VS CITY cabs. I have one MS2931 for it already, but it does not have a cage. I have missed out on a couple locally the last 6 months which is a killer :(

I am without my own house right now, and also had a bit of an "accident" with my second VS CITY w/monitors when it was being moved off a truck into the storage shed. It had been raining all day, and it slid off on the tailgate when it hit the ground and the VS smashed to the ground on its side. It then sat there in the rain for 3 days before it could be moved with a forklift. So, it may be completely toast now, I am not sure. May need two MS29's for it, too! I know I have Buckley's, but thought I would put it out there.

Brisbane/GC area would be perfect, but interstate is fine as well if it can be sent.

I am also looking for an NVS4000 loom for my NAC, and a monitor cable for the MS2931 to go in the VS CITY.

Regarding the NVS4000 Upgrade path on NAC's. I am pretty sure this used a special upgrade harness either included with the cab or sold by sega. I never seen the entire loom except on one singular New Astro City I sold that happened to come with a NVS4000 that was factory installed or at least upgraded with factory parts.

Too find the actual full replacement cabinet loom that plugs into a NVS4000 PSU in a NAC is probably unobtainium imo and you would just have time better spent reworking your existing cabling.

That said its possible to repin your existing NAC PSU cables to work with a NVS4000 and then the only thing you need would be a JVS/Stereo harness cable to use for power JVS boards like this which HKLegend sells. Its where I got mine about 4 or 5 years ago.

Best of luck in your search

Ahhh, I knew I should contact Lemony. Bought CPS-II looms for the NAC and Blast from him 5 years ago. Great guy to deal with!

I’ve made an adapter before, it’s a little work, but it’s possible. I would need to know what PSU THE NVS4k is replacing.
It is a standard NAC power supply. Can't look right now to check the exact part number, but it is the one I see in all NACs. Not that that is overly helpful, hahaha!

The issue with that is there were four or so different PSUs in the Astro city family cabinets, all with slightly different pinouts. Because of that, I can’t just build a bunch and call it good. Every single one i make is custom for each order :(

I have a few people who have asked me for one, (like @AlxUnderBase.. haven’t forgotten ‘bout ya) so when you can, grab the model number of the PSU and I can get cracking on an adapter :)

@Lemony Vengeance ...If this helps , the 400-5198-01X PSU used on my NAC was used this way with the existent loom :

Haha, yep, which is why I knew my typing there woukd be all but useless to you ;) From what I can see, I think mine is the same as Alex's. But I will of course wait until I have my precious cabs back, so I can check properly. Praying it will not be much longer!
