Helping out a friend from a distance on this one, so hoping there's something I'm not thinking of to check here.
It was working more or less fine (some width issues we were investigating that seem to stem from being an MS8 chassis on an MS9 yoke). Pulled the monitor, turned it on with no remote board attached, shut it off realizing the mistake, hooked up the remote board, checked B+ at 93.4v, fuse popped, and on replacement there's no image.
Neckboard solder joints look fine, no buzzing/ringing/chirping like a blown transistor, but no image.
