Recapped a second yaton ms8-29 for my friend's arcade, it was a bit of a mess around the vertical IC. I cleaned, recapped, and redid the mess in the vertical IC area. Unfortunately now I don't get video, I just get raster lines. I went over all the work and found r570 blown, the video b+ resistor 4.7 ohm 1/2 watt. I replaced it with one I stole from a spare ms8-26, unfortunately it blew again. I purchased some more resistors and took time to reflow the transistors that the video b+ leads to, q570 571 and 572 , none of them tested bad but I reflowed them anyways. Only thing I found wrong was on the neck board, where one diode had it's anode floating as it had come loose from it's solder joints. Hopefully this does it, I won't be able to test it out until Tuesday at my friend's arcade. Any advice would be appreciated.

Welp I think I figured this one out, I was going through the recap and checking values and polarity and found that I put a 220uf 50v in the neckboard instead of the correct 10uf 250v. Honest mistake cause they are exactly the same size. I am gonna post the picture of this and the rest of the work I did on this Yaton chassis.

Alright guys you can close this one, after I put the right cap in the f902 blew. I noticed it was the wrong fuse, a 1amp fast blow instead of the proper 2amp slow blow. I ordered the proper fuse and I am happy to say it's working rock solid now. I had a ms9-29 I fixed with a yoke adapter in there but now I can just put it away as a backup.
