Seem to have this weird snow bar pattern on my ms9. It goes up a bit kinda like a sync issue. Haven't recapped it yet.

Looks like AC interference.
I would try another outlet and make sure the line filter is ok. Also turn off any high power devices close to the cab.
I would also look for cold solder joints on the neckboard.

Ok, checked some stuff. disconnected halogen lights, monitor ac fan, marquee and ballast still no change. also added a ground wire to the line filter to monitor chassis since theres no ground what soever on a korean ddr cabinet. still no change. ordered a new line filter and will check that out. also will check step up transformer if the line filter does not solve the problem.

Poorly performing caps in the power section can also cause interference.

My 3 Super neo 29 cabs have same issue. When I turned them up I hear high pitched squealing noise coming from the flyback for few mins with snow bar pattern on the screen.
So I am not sure replacing the flyback could fix the issue.

Ok update time! recapped ithe whole chassis and it still has the interefence look but not as bad? doesnt scroll up as much and the interference is still there. gotta check more components. found 4 bad capacitors. one on neck board, remote board, and 2 caps in the power section. all of them way out of spec. greater than 40ohms on my atlus tester.

Inspect the anode suction cap for corona, just use a screw driver connect to gnd and put it near the anode cap while the set is running in dark room if there is HV release then replace the rubber anode cap.

Be careful not to shock yourself can be fatal... Make sure is a rubber handle screwdriver ect.
