Hey all,
I am selling a very unique MIDI synth, and I'm listing it here for the homies because it may be of interest for people who love old DOS games or perhaps even X68K era personal computer game soundtracks.
This can be used with the INCLUDED Roland UM-One MK2 USB Midi interface to run games with DOSBox etc., using full roland MT-32 soundtracks including SYSEX and instrument changes. A newer MIDI Synth like the SC-55/Sound Canvas cannot do this, even in "mt-32 mode."
So what is the Roland MT-100? It's the newer model MT-32 board with headphones jack PCB, in an enclosure with a sequencer that supported saving to floppy disk. Not just any floppy disk, a 2.8" Roland QuickDisk. The original drive was not in working order, so I took the work on of replacing it with a Gotek. Even with a prepared Gotek kit, this took a few hours of labor, which I'm not really including in the pricing here. With the GoTek, you can save or load MIDI sequences / data. It has hundreds of blank disks on the USB drive, and some demo music. I uploaded a quick youtube video here to show function of the GoTek. All MIDI functions of the synth/sound module work perfectly as well, and it sounds better than my recapped original MT-32 (the older one, with no headphones jack).

skip to 1:30 for sound, but I demonstrate loading from an emulated floppy prior.
I am asking $375 including shipping within the US. I would have to ask something like $420 shipped internationally. It includes the original power supply, clean and fully working MT-100 unit itself, and a USB MIDI cable that supports all the SYSEX for game soundtracks, DosBOX, etc., use of the sound module. If a MT-32 is/was on your grail tier list, this might actually be the synth you're looking for
Thanks for looking.
