MVS Candy Cab to CPS2

I know this is probably a very basic arcade subject, but I've spent a lot of time trying to figure out and I've just ended up confusing myself more.

I have a Hyper 64 Candy Cab that has a MVS system installed. It has the typical MVS 4 button two player setup on the CP. I would like to install a CPS2 system and I have already purchased a separate CP with the typical CPS2 six button setup.

My question is: What do I need to do to make all this happen? Am I just massively overthinking all of this?
 
You'll need an MVS to JAMMA adapter (or the other way around? Whichever means putting JAMMA games in an MVS cab). And a kick button harness.

After that, with what you've already got it should be plug and play.
 
Which neo board is in the cab? Is it a one slot or multi slot? I think that can make a slight difference but you should be able to find an adapter for what you have.
 
1 slot is straight JAMMA. Plug and play.

You'll need to connect your bottom 3 buttons up to the kick harness connector on the CPS2 board.
