Hello!
This is my first restoration project and I would like to share it with you.
The machine is in this state (I will include more pictures in detail) the pictures are from the seller before he sent it to me:
- Objective:
To leave the machine exactly as it was when it came out. This means, using all the original hardware components, except the art part which will be reproductions but I will try to get them in the original materials.
- Phases:
1. Disassembly of metal parts, electronics and different components.
2. Analysis of the state of the different components and decide what will be replaced or repaired if possible.
2. Cleaning of electronic components.
3. Professional repair of all knocks on the metal structure and repainting with paint in the original colour.
4. Checking of PCBs and replacement of capacitors of the display PCB.
In addition to these phases by way of mental structure. During the whole process there will be a search for different missing components. These components are some, simple to find elements, such as tubular lock, standard seimitsu buttons.... The big problem are less standard components like the service button or the control panel locks.
I have started by making a list of components from the machine manual and these are the components listed in this official manual:
Actually with the list of components in hand, I have doubts about the component marked in orange, difficulty in finding the one marked in red and I need help with 2 that do not appear in the list.
I find similar models (similar) but they don't have the same button size and they don't have a round clasp but a hexagonal one.

I have started by making a list of components from the machine manual and these are the components listed in this official manual:

PCB Memory Card Reader | MV-IC | 1 |
Coin purse | AD81P (100 Yen) | 1 |
Actually with the list of components in hand, I have doubts about the component marked in orange, difficulty in finding the one marked in red and I need help with 2 that do not appear in the list.
- MV-IC (PCB Memory Card Reader): The problem with this component is finding one for sale. I am not in a hurry as it is not necessary for the operation of the machine and it would be more to complete the restoration than for the use it will be put to. There is 1 for sale right now on ebay, but it has 1 problem, and that is that the PCB has a hole that must have been made by hand and I'm very fussy about the condition of the components.
- Player/Select Buttons: According to the official documentation the model of the game buttons are XW6Z-0011, when actually I would say they are the same as the 30mm Seimitsu PS-14. I can't find any documentation about the model indicated in the documentation and I think that in this case I won't pay attention to the original component.
- Demagnetisation push button: As I show in the following image, you can see that there is a CRT demagnetisation button but I can't find the model and I need help:
I find similar models (similar) but they don't have the same button size and they don't have a round clasp but a hexagonal one.
- Tubular lock: I have no problem finding tubular locks in general, the problem is with the closure of the control panel, since it has long metal locks that I would need to measure by someone who owns a similar arcade to be able to ask for custom ones to be made. These would be:
