That's awesome. You pretty much have the best starter kit for one hell of a setup :) 15khz with the astro and 31khz with the blast

Thanks for sharing your journey with us, but darn if it hasn't made me peanut butter and jealous! Awesome resto so far!

Did a few quick updates to the Astro today.

I finally put a grounded cord into it. For some reason I seem immune, but my wife kept getting shocked when she'd play. Now we're safe.

I wasn't happy with my lighting solution. But seeing a Scarlet Sprites' video I thought I'd try the same LED he's been using. LINK

I was amazed that the included mounts actually fit the factory mounting points.

One of the easiest mods so far.

The lighting is much more even than what I had before.

Super quick update this week.

Received a marquee art holder from a Japan auction.

It was listed as "junk", but there is barely any scuffs on it.

Put some Alpha 3 art in it.

And the instruction card.

That's it for now.

I've done a few updates to my Astro City in the past couple of months.

I had wanted to put skate wheels on for awhile since seeing a few other forum members do so.

You do need to file them down otherwise they won't spin nice. Also, my Astro didn't have the casters at all when I got it. So this is a set I got a few months ago.

I got a file kit from Amazon and filed them down. They roll super smooth now.

My Astro was also missing the kick plate. @YATON to the rescue yet again. It looked a bit dirty but...

A wire brush and...

Shiny.

My Astro was also missing a bunch of screws or had some incorrect ones. Ace is the place for metric screws.

Love how these look and function.

Getting there. Still a few things to do. But I'm really happy that it's all nice and level now; as well as easier to move.

Thanks for looking. More to come.

Would it be possible to see some more details of the stereo mod? I’m looking to do this myself. Thanks!

Also do you have specs or a link to the wheels you used? They look great.
