yesterday i recieved a wire to go from rca to the NAC stereo amp in. i pluged up the speakers to the OUT of the amp, the end of the stereo cord into the stereo IN, and connected my jamma harness to raiden fighters 1 properly. i have the everten stereo mod on the board and have tested it with a 2.1 speaker setup beforehand so i know all this works and the cabinet was playing raiden fighters 1 perfectly every time i plugged it in and played before. So... i power everything on and the audio is crackled a bit, and choppy in the menu. then for a few seconds everything is working perfectly. i let it sit like that for about 10 seconds, then power off the cab via the switch on my PSU. the plan was to reconfirm it was working. when i turned it on i got no audio at all. i powered down, then unplugged the stereo cable and hooked up the speaker cable back to the harness and powered on the game and it worked perfectly. i thought there must be something wrong with the amp so i powered everything down and removed the amp and power supply and opened up the top of the amp. i snooped around and made sure all the connections were fully connected, then put the cap back on and plugged the psu back in, along with the amp outside of the cabinet on my tile floor. i double check all my connections and fire up the psu. POP blown fuse immediately. i got a few fuses this morning and put one in without the amp plugged in, and it popped another one. something is wrong with my power supply and idk what it is. i opened the psu up and didnt seem to find any damage, but i bought a recap kit anyway so i figure that worth trying. if anyone has any advise that would be greatly appreciated. im new to the hobby and i knew a day like this would come, but i didnt know it would be so soon.
