I installed new sticks (LS-32) into my Cyber Lead today but none of the directions worked except Down. I also tried Sanwa JLFs with similar results.
I did some research and found out that Namco uses a non standard pinout to the IO board in the cab. It was easy to extract the pins from the JST connector and re-insert them in the correct order.
Here is the Namco pinout and the colours of the wires in my cab. Your wire colours may differ:
Pin 1 - Down (Orange)
Pin 2 - Right (Green)
Pin 3 - Ground (Black)
Pin 4 - Up (Red)
Pin 5 - Left (Yellow)
