Namco system 256 tekken 5 Dr fault

Hey guys
I’ve got a working tekken5 dark res disc and dongle that works boots up plays but I can’t credit or use any buttons or sticks..
I Put in tekken 5.1 disc and dongle and it all works fine
Has anyone had this happen
Dark red just plays the intro over and over and I can’t do anything

Are you able to get into the service menu? Use the dip switches to try, and see if your inputs work there

Yeah I’ve tried that it just doesn’t move at all
It’s a mystery cause my tekken 5.1 works fine disc and dongle but dark res doesn’t use any inputs at all
