I got myself a maple2naomi adapter I am trying to get cvs2 working on it. According to mister addons website, I need to set a jumper to the "A" position. I was wondering if anyone knew which jumper they are referring to, and if changing it affects other games.

Are you getting IO error on CvS2? I know this happens when using Sega IO board as well and you have to set the jumper on the SEGA IO board to position A to make it work and then kicks come out of the CN3. I am not sure about maple2naomi adapter. Can you send pictures of the top and bottom of the board?

I'm using a capcom i/o when I go to the game config settings I am unable to see any option to select anything for c panel use there is no (on or off) selection im assuming its because i dont have jumper positioned properly. there's no i/o error I got the maple2naomi for friends that would prefer a pad.

I have never used the c-panel on naomi sorry i wont know much about it, but I am sure someone else will be able to help you out here.

i wish had a new net city cab i could understand where those wires go. other games work. I've tested mvc2 and that allows me to use the pads. the keyboard titles also work with it. I just cant figure out what this jumper "A" thing is. I was thinking it would be inside the motherboard itself. Here is a picture of the adapter it doesn't use cn9 I dont know if that would be causing the issue? also cn7 uses only 10 of the 11 pins.

I figured out the problem. It was the bios settings. apparently when capcom distributed the game internationally they disabled the c-panel settings. So if you want to use pads you have to run the japanese version of the game. controllers are working now.
