You can also technically use a MODE to replace the assembly in a GD-ROM setup (they support 5V) and create a menu folder with an update GDI. Considering how expensive MODE is, you might as well get a netdimm at this point though xD.
sorry for the necro bump. I cant get this to netboot using the file out of /updater on github. Did anyone ever get it to netboot? i keep getting error 31.
Im needing to test a gdrom drive and i dont have any gd discs.

I see now that in the test menu it shows up as "cfbox 4.03 updater" or something similiar. is there a way to convert this to be netbootable as it appears to be a cf image?
