I think around $100 is the going price, not entirely sure.I might have a spare, what's your price? Have no idea what they are going for now.
Here you go buddy, they will probably take a lower offer:I think around $100 is the going price, not entirely sure.I might have a spare, what's your price? Have no idea what they are going for now.
That Yaton, lowest price on some stuff, they look beat to hell most of the time, but prices are really good.I just recently bought one for 120 from yaton. Which IMO is on the cheap side
Whaaaaaat no 1GB DIMM after you talked me into upgrading mine! Annnnd no reset relay!Yup I just got my NetDIMM from Yaton, it was beat to shit... but worked.
I replaced the RAM (PC100-512MB) and cleaned up the case.
Crimped my crossover cable, and soldered together my power cable for PiForce setup.
The price hike on the DIMMs made me switch to the 512MB, I didn't realize they had increased in value when I originally typed that.Whaaaaaat no 1GB DIMM after you talked me into upgrading mine! Annnnd no reset relay!
Some of the games won't let you switch remotely and you have to manually reset the Naomi. With the relay installed (and using the latest piforce webtool v1.2 with the GPIO update) you wont have to touch anything inside the cab and you can switch to any game. The price hike on the DIMMs made me switch to the 512MB, I didn't realize they had increased in value when I originally typed that. What is the "reset relay" I've never heard of this piece and I don't really understand why it would be necessary?Whaaaaaat no 1GB DIMM after you talked me into upgrading mine! Yeah it's not pretty but I copied someone else's layout and it works well. I ended up using anti-vibration mounts to hold the Pi and Relay in place. You can hide the relay internally and place the relay trigger signal inline with the power connection from the pi.
Waste of money, just get a 256MB version 3.03 NetDIMM from Yaton (125$)... Order the memory yourself from eBay (12$), netboot the 4.02 version firmware update (free) and order a zero key/pic from @Mitsurugi-w (8$).NetDimm 512 or higher if possible.
I'm seeing this. Only now to find somebody selling a kit. There's a few on Ebay, but prices seem a bit steep and not localized. I have limited knowledge outside of what I know from here, and youtube, so thanks for the information. Thats awesome news.Waste of money, just get a 256MB version 3.03 NetDIMM... I found his ebay. Looks like I'll be scooping one up from ole china.I updated that post with a few more details, it seems Yaton is selling a metric ton of NetDIMMs right now for the best price I've seen in years.
