Ok let me explain on the pcb the chip u13 is red
And the graphics are messed up it will let you play the game but nope graphics lines lol ..idk if its the u13 or what the board is clean..

1. Wrong subforum!
2. U13 is a GFX RAM chip that's bad. They don't usually go bad and some sub logic is tied into this. Can be difficult to repair.
3. If the board was sold perfectly working you'll need to get a refund.
4. If not sold as working, you'll need a person to repair this if you can't do this yourself. (It's SMD ram, hot air rework, and so on.)

Im sry wrong posted on wrong forum was tired when i did.no it was sold not working also was cheap pcb. The chip is there any place that sells it?

I have a UMK3 with intermittent U13 ram errors. the background will do like a loop thing as you go left and right on the screen. I never attempted to logic probe it and see if any of the lines are showing bad. those rams should be tied to the Williams Custom Chip, like Asure said, it can be difficult to repair.

my weekends have been monopolized as of late. my job is fixing video games and pinball, the last thing I want to do is come home from work and do more... work.

Well i was gonna hot air it with some flex and solder paste to see if it will reflow it.. whats the best way to reflow the chip?

If nothing changes in-game when you push on the chip, there's no need to reflow it, there's likely another problem somewhere on the bus.
I don't know how to fix 'easy' if only one chip is bad. Usually they seem to go in pairs.
