Good evening everyones,
I took a look at this wire and it seems that some filaments aren't soldered well. With my bad english, I want to say the following : a wire is composed by x number of filaments and a sheath. The resolution of my pics isn't very accurate but I can see that some of the filaments are broken (that's my feeling), and only a few are soldered. In this specific case, is it an issue? Is it important that each filaments should be soldered or should I cut and solder again? If yes, can I use my former tool (crimping tool?) I usually use to make 18 and 24 awg wires naked (denude/strip)? This sheath looks like thicker than a standart 18awg.
Thank you!

u cna always cut and resolder that. i had to do it with my ms8 29 before. if u dont feel that connection is good, u should resolder it. friendly advice if u havent done it before is to make sure u get all the metal strands out of the connector.

all the metal strands out of the connector?

There is a hole in the contact leadto put the wire thru to solder it. Strands of wire can get stuck in the hole or possibly make little arks so u want to make sure u get all the strands off the lead when desoldering.

Correct, I remember the hole (I did that on my Pony chassi once). The big deal now is not to burn the plastic cap. That's why I'll protect all edges with some thick adhesive before soldering this.

Thanks for your advices!
