Hi all,

I've pulled my Neo Geo AES 3-6 out of storage and found that when connected via RGB scart the image appears squashed and pulled towards the centre of the screen as per the attached image. The console works fine in composite so I don't think it's any logic chip is causing it. It's like it can't sync with RGB. I did perform an RGB bypass mod on the console and have now reversed it to try composite, but no effect to the RGB signal. Could it be my cables? No idea what could cause this.

That looks like a sync problem. I'd try a different screen, and see if you get a different result.

SNK played fast n loose with their video circuitry in the Neo hardware. I had a TEAC CRT that absolutely wouldn't play nice with the Neo, because the sync was off just enough. It'd roll vertically once every second or three. My hunch is that your display doesn't like this on the RGB input.

I'm running it through a Retrotink 4K, previously a Retrotink 5X. I'll try messing with the settings and see if I can get it to sync better. I've also ordered a new RGB cable and see if that helps. It's just odd that it was working perfectly about a year ago,
