Hi, all.
Going to be moving later this year and unfortunately won't be able to take a lot of stuff with me, including my NAC and Goldie. I've had the NAC for almost 2 years and the Goldie for 5.5 years. Neither are "mint" by any means, but both cabinets play really well. More detail on each cabinet is provided below along with links to photo albums. I'm located in Monroe, NC 28112. Not willing to ship, but I will help you load into car, truck, etc. Please let me know if you have any questions/need more photos. Thanks, everyone!
SEGA New Astro City ($2100 SOLD $1800):
Cabinet was purchased from the Gatlinburg Pinball Museum after they closed in 2023. Fantastic monitor with very minimal burn-in. Colors are excellent and screen is bright, never had any issues with the picture. Currently wired for a 2-player, 6-button setup. Has Sanwa levers, with Seimitsu buttons and ball tops. Includes a Guilty Gear instruction sheet above the CPO. Speakers sound great. Replaced locks, was unable to source originals so settled for decent replacements. They work, but can be hard to turn sometimes. Marquee lights are nice and bright. Coin box included! Biggest issue with the cabinet is cosmetics. Artwork on the sides has nicks, scratches and scuffs. Same with body of cabinet. Speaker housing is yellowed. Control panel seems to have been painted at some point, but paint is now peeling. Doors on front of cabinet are a different shade of white, not sure if painted or yellowed. MiSTer FPGA is not included, just used to show gameplay. Pictures.
NEO-GEO "Goldie" MVS-2-19 ($1500 $1400):
Purchased in Clover, SC off Craigslist back in 2020, I believe it was in a restaurant before he owned it. Monitor is nice and bright, has some minor burn-in at top but only really visible on lighter colored backgrounds. EL panels were replaced by me, they work great with no issues. Sticks and buttons were replaced at some point, but they work great, nice and responsive. No issues with audio. UniBios 4.0 installed onto motherboard. Both cartridge slots have been tested with multiple cartridges and play great, no issues switching either. Coin mechanisms are working and coin box is included. Only issue with the cabinet is cosmetic damage. Some of the wood is peeling, has ripped, or has holes in it (mainly on the front due to drilled holes by operator.) The control panel has some slight patina on it. Black cardboard bezel has a tear in it, but was taped up. I also believe there was some minor water damage to the cabinet, hence the peeling at the bottom. The cabinet is structurally sound, however. Mini marquees pictured are not included. Pictures
