NEO GEO MVS Cart Clean Up

Hi All,

Appreciate you reading and hope it’s okay to post this Q here. Recently got a haul of MVS carts. Most of my black carts are in great shape but the clear and smoke ones look like they been through a war.

In the past I would just use Q tips and isopropyl to slowly scrub carts clean. Wanted to know if you all have any preferred product or method of caring for your carts. Would love to see these two carts get a little shine back. Not sure if it is possible with them being transparent and partially transparent with some minor and heavy scratching.

You mean the cart shells?
First question is, are you saving the labels?
If not, the a good clean in hot soapy water.
Afterwards, Novus 3-2-1 can work well. More deeply marred surfaces require sanding and work up…

Yup, thinking of the plastic shell. I most likely will sacrafice the existing label it is mostly torn off. No visible serial to preserve for posterity. I have heard good things about Novus 3-2-1. I will give it a shot!
